CUB SCOUT PACK 100
Johnson City, New York • Hiawatha District • Baden-Powell Council

PACK FAMILY CAMPING

Pack 100 usually holds two Pack Family Camp events annually. The Fall calendar features an out-of-town event, usually in October, which is a great way for new families to get to know the Pack. This is held at Highland Forest, an Onondaga County park in Fabius, NY. The Spring calendar features camping at our local council's eastern retreat in Windsor, NY - Camp Tuscarora.

In addition to the Pack Family Camp events, there is also a Webelos Winter Mixer with the older Cubs and the scouts from Troop 110.

Beyond traditional campouts, the Pack periodically runs other overnight events such as a trip to the USS Slater in Albany, NY or stargazing sessions at Kopernik Observatory. Details on these types of events are made available as appropriate.

Baden-Powell Council also holds additional family camping opportunities such as High Adventure Weekends. Participation in this Council events is on an individual basis and not organized by the Pack.

The 2013-14 Camping Dates are:

  • Oct 11-13: Fall Family Camping (Highland Forest)
  • Jan 10-12: Webelos Winter Mixer (Pocono Mountain Bible Conference)
